Drum Lessons Auckland - PRICING
All lessons are available for purchase at the venue, either on the day or you can pay in advance for a 10 week term and receive a $70 discount thus paying $280 for 10 lessons. Otherwise its $35 per lesson for the (West) Glen Eden location.

Drum lessons Auckland...Pena Te'evale (Ben) has been playing drums for over 17 years and has backed many different artists including Che Fu, Leza Corban, The Hipstamatics, Tenement Yard, Kara Gordon and These Automatic Changers just to name a few. Ben can play and teach most styles and genres from Rock to Jazz and everything in between. Having more of a rock foundation learning early 90's rock covers he was later introduced to other styles of drumming like Latin and Jazz which then led him to join the award winning Auckland Grammar stage band and jazz ensembles.
Ben has performed at Auckland City Limits (western springs), Raggamuffin festival, Jim Bean Homegrown, Vodafone NZ music awards 2018, Vodafone events Alofa concert 2019, Otago University beer festival (forsyth barr stadium ), One Love Reggae festival 2017 , Hip Hop bloc party 2016, Christchurch earthquake relief concert (Ami Stadium), Pacific music awards 2014 etc etc..
His qualifications include 7th form music at Auckland Grammar, Itinerant music teacher at Howick Intermediate, Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University, and teaching privately at Drum City since 2006. His current student's age group range from 4 to 50 years old, so you're never too young or old to learn drums.
